After last winter’s record-breaking attendance, resorts are reinvesting in their operations in order to keep their old customers and attract new ones. And one group of customers many resorts want to attract is children.

“Resorts have taken great strides in making it easy and accessible to learn how to ski and snowboard, and we see a lot of that this year in terms of new upgrades and where resorts have put attention and energy for the coming season," says Jennifer Rudolph, the spokesperson for Colorado Ski Country USA.

Among the resorts expanding or adding new facilities for children are Arapahoe Basin, Aspen/Snowmass, Loveland, and Burton Riglet Park.
