Monday through Friday nights at 7, Charley Samson is your connection to the music, voices and happenings of Colorado's classical music community.

Here's what's on tap for the week of Jan. 19.

A look at pianist Jeremy Denk, who performs a Friends of Chamber Music recital on Wednesday.

Colorado Symphony concertmaster Yumi-Hwang Williams performs in the CPR Performance Studio. She's the featured soloist with the Colorado Symphony on Jan. 21.

Charles Ives scholar Ken Singleton talks about the composer's music and a new play, "Charles Ives Take Me Home," at the Curious Theatre in Denver.

In anticipation of Mozart's birthday on Jan. 27, we'll hear his String Quintet and learn why the piece may have been composed as a result of professional jealousy.

Our Mozart birthday celebration continues. We'll hear one of Mozart's "Prussian" quartets and learn about their history.
