Title: SB15-033 Increasing Funding For Public Pre-K-12 Education

Sponsors: Sen. Andy Kerr (D-Lakewood)

Status: Introduced and assigned to the Senate State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee on Jan. 7. On Feb. 2, the bill was killed

What the bill does: Asks voters to decide if the state can keep current and future revenues to invest in education from preschool through high school.

How it affects your refund: As written, this bill would have removed taxpayer refunds. But in doing so, it changes current tax policy, which is something that voters must approve.
