Sharon Alton, with the Council’s Colorado office, says new work at Denver’s Union Station helped raise Colorado from 8th in the previous ranking, and other projects could get the state to No. 1.
"Really anywhere in this new Union Station neighborhood that you look, you’re probably looking at a LEED certified building," Alton said.
Green design will be part of renovating the National Western Complex.
