Steven Weigum, 55, is accused of assaults that happened over 10 years ago, said the office. Right now, the office says there is no indication that any victims previously or currently attend Ute Meadows Elementary.
Weigum was booked into the jail on charges of aggravated incest, sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, and sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust pattern.
He is currently being held without bond and expected to appear in court at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
