Search crews have found a boy's body in the area where an 11-year-old went missing after he fell from a raft on the Arkansas River.

Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze says the body was found Friday afternoon, but investigators haven't confirmed if it's the missing boy.

Water rescue teams used underwater cameras and scent dogs to look for the boy in the river while others searched the banks about 10 miles north of Salida on Friday.

Spezze says the boy, who is from Golden, was on a guided trip Wednesday afternoon when the raft he and two others were in tipped on its side, knocking all three into the river in Browns Canyon. The others were rescued.

The river is running high because of melting snow and recent rain.
