Colorado Gas Prices Aren’t Falling Much — Yet

· Aug. 24, 2015, 10:07 pm

The price of oil continues to fall, but prices at the gas pump in Colorado aren’t retreating as quickly.

The average retail gas price in Colorado fell about a penny in the past week to $2.83 a gallon. Meanwhile, Gasbuddy.com says the national average fell to $2.60.

As a refinery problem gets cleared up in Indiana, prices in the Rocky Mountains should fall more sharply. Analysts say a big drop should occur in the next several weeks.
