There will be several big bangs followed by a lot of rumbling Saturday morning around Colorado Boulevard and 9th Avenue in Denver. A building at the old University Hospital site is being demolished. The implosion designed to bring it down will start at about 8 a.m. and require some road and sidewalk closures for motorists and pedestrians in the area.
