Weld County residents who want to pursue higher education will be able to do so with $3,000 from the county beginning in 2016. The Greeley Tribune reports that the county says the program provides recipients $3,000 per year for up to a maximum of $12,000 for four years to attend any post-secondary education. To fund the program, donors will give money to the grant trust fund program, of which the county will return 50 percent in the form of a property tax rebate.
