Colorado’s Dish Network Sees Profits Rise, But Subscribers Continue To Leave

Chart: Dish Network subscribers

Dish lost 23,000 pay TV subscribers in the third quarter of this year. That is the sixth-straight quarter of lost subscribers, according to the company’s public filing. A total of 350,000 customers have left the service since the midpoint of last year.

Some customers are cutting the cord, turning to streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. But Dish was also hurt by contract disputes with Time Warner and Fox. That left channels like CNN, Fox News and TruTV blacked out for a short time last year.
