Victims ID’d, Authorities Seal Documents

Authorities have identified the civilian victims of Friday's shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic on the city's northwest side as 35-year-old Jennifer Markovsky and 29-year-old Ke'Arre Marcell Stewart.  Officials previously identified UCCS Police Officer Garrett Swasey as another fatality.

Stewart was a veteran of the Iraq War who recently left the military.  Markovsky is being described as a kind-hearted, lovable person. 

Swasey's family released a statement Sunday, thanking people for their support and asking for privacy.

Authorities are not releasing any information in regards to a timeline, motive, or weapon used, and have sealed the warrants related to the case.

The alleged gunman, 57-year-old Robert Lewis Dear, is expected to have a court appearance Monday.

Centennial Boulevard has reopened to through traffic. Investigators say it will likely take  six to seven days to fully process the crime scene.

A Community Crisis Recovery Center has opened to assist those directly impacted by Friday's shooting incident.  Resources and referral services are available to those in the area at the time of the standoff, as well as their families and nearby businesses and residents.  It's open through Thursday from 1 to 7:30 at the Mortgage Solutions Financial Center, 3650 North Nevada.
