Tacocat, ‘I Hate The Weekend’

There are plenty of rock songs celebrating the end of the work week. The latest single from Seattle indie band Tacocat is not one of them.

"I Hate The Weekend" is a two-minute punk anthem that laments the "homogenized" and "bleak" nine-to-fivers who take over the city streets Friday through Sunday. It's a fun example of Tacocat's knack for blending righteous anger with humor.

The song appears on the band's third studio album, "Lost Time," which is out now.
