Enough money has been raised for a memorial to the victims of the Aurora theater shooting. Officials with the 7/20 Memorial Foundation say they’ve reached their $200,000 goal.
A donation of more than $100,000 from Aurora’s Colorado Community Church pushed the fundraising over the top.
The memorial will be a space within the Aurora Municipal Center Xeriscape Garden. The next step is to pick an artist to design the Reflection Memorial Garden. Fundraising continues for artwork and other features for the garden.
