Real Estate: ‘Darling’

Real Estate's "In Mind" is the band's first album with guitarist Julian Lynch -- who replaces Matthew Mondanile. Lynch makes his presence known immediately: Album opener "Darling" kicks off with a minute-long guitar jam in the New Jersey band's laid-back style. It then shifts into a jangle-pop song that shuffles along with a comforting ease.

The song pairs well with its charming music video -- which features the band performing with a horse.

Real Estate performs Wednesday at the Gothic Theatre.
