Ty Segall does his best to keep fans happy during the post-holiday winter. For the past two years the prolific garage rocker has released an album in January, and 2018 will be no different: "Freedom's Goblin" is out on the 26th.
The single "My Lady's On Fire" may sound familiar to some fans as Segall has included it in his live sets over the past year. It begins as a plaintive acoustic song but quickly picks up the pace. Segall then delivers one of the catchiest choruses in his vast discography accompanied by some thrilling saxophone solos.
Ty Segall performs April 5 at the Ogden Theatre.
