Suzanne Santo altered her rock 'n' roll morning routine to accommodate us at 91.5 KRCC after she and her band played the Gym at Ivywild the night before. Normally, rock bands burn the midnight oil and awake midday, but on this occasion, Ms. Santo was kind enough to meet us at the station bright and early, albeit a few minutes late because her map app was steering her to Webster Ave instead of the correct address of North Weber Street for 91.5 KRCC - obviously Siri's fault, not Suzanne's.
Once settled, we had the pleasure of hearing her perform a couple songs in the 91.5 KRCC production studio, and we talked with her about her music, the ying and yang of her happiness and sadness, the difficulty of working with the ones you love, and much, much more.
Suzanne's interview and performance can be heard on this month's Air Check, Saturday at 6pm and again next Wednesday February 7th, and 7pm.
