The New York Philharmonic performs at Bravo! Vail, one of many festivals featured this summer as part of CPR Classical's SummerFest broadcasts.

SummerFest from CPR Classical is back -- a season-long stream of amazing concerts, choice recordings and interviews from some of the finest classical musicians from Colorado and the international stage.

Hear dozens of live and recorded concerts from all over Colorado, featuring major orchestras and artists from around the U.S. and the world. Check out the schedule below for the full list.

We kick things off early this year, hosting for the first time from one of the most famous outdoor venues in the world: Red Rocks Amphitheatre. David Ginder broadcasts live from backstage on May 31 before a concert by the Colorado Symphony with pianist Natasha Paremski.

The classical event of the summer is cellist Yo-Yo Ma at Red Rocks, kicking off a world tour of Bach’s six solo Cello Suites on Aug. 1. CPR Classical will cover it as part of SummerFest.

Hear a live concert planned in partnership with KCME in Colorado Springs to close the Colorado Colorado Summer Music Festival on June 23. We also collaborate with Aspen Public Radio for broadcasts from the Aspen Music Festival and School.

And catch Brad Turner’s musical tour through the Rocky Mountains to find some of the best contemporary music being performed at Colorado venues, in Season 2 of the Centennial Sounds podcast.

Whether you’re listening on the radio or online, I hope you enjoy the many SummerFest performances that will infuse CPR Classical’s offerings all summer long. And check our Facebook page throughout the summer for updates and snapshots from the festivals.
