Earlier this month, a large amount of blood was discovered near a dumpster in Aurora. The Aurora Police Department now believes it's matched to a man reported missing.

The Denver Post reports police believe the blood belongs to 43-year-old  Eric Todd Ewing who they describe as homeless.

Last Saturday, Aurora Police searched the Denver Arapahoe Disposal Site on Gun Club Road for 12 hours, but found nothing.

Ewing is described as a black man, 6 feet, 9 inches tall and 225 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Aurora Police request anyone who may know Ewing or have seen him contact 303-627-3100.
