91.5 KRCC will be adding three new shows into rotation starting January 1st, 2020.
Beginning Wednesday January 1st, at 3:30pm The Daily can be heard weekdays following Marketplace. The Daily is a Peabody Award winning daily news podcast and radio show by the American newspaper The New York Times. Hosted by Times political journalist Michael Barbaro, its episodes are based on the Times' reporting of the day with interviews of journalists from The New York Times.
Latino USA will begin airing Saturday afternoons at 2pm. NPR's Latino USA is an hour long program, hosted by Maria Hinojosa, and is the longest running Latino-focused program on U.S. public media.
KRCC Presents.... can be heard Sunday evenings at 6pm. In this local showcase, 91.5 KRCC will be presenting stories and issues that are relevant to southern Colorado and the people who live here.
Starting Sunday January 5th, KRCC Presents...Season One of Lost Highways from Noel Black and the Colorado History Museum. The six episodes of Lost Highways Season One offers a rich tapestry of the people and historic events that have brought us to where we are today.
On Sunday February 16th, KRCC Presents...Season One of Colorado Cold Case - in this 4 part series, Colorado College Professor Steven Hayward teams up with the Colorado Springs Gazette to revisit homicides in our city and region that remain unsolved.
