Opening tonight, and running thru the 22nd, the UCCS Visual and Performing Arts: Theatre and Dance Program will present the rock musical “Hair” at the Ent Center for the Arts. Chicago Farmer and the Fieldnotes will perform at the Western Jubilee Warehouse Theater on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Tonight at 6:30 p.m., Poetry Heals will host a poetry writing workshop for the community at the Penrose Library in downtown Colorado Springs. The First Friday Shuttle Bus won’t return until April, but the First Friday Art Walks in Downtown Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs will continue tomorrow evening from 5-8 p.m.

In honor of Black History Month, Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Institute will present a free screening of “Skid Row Marathon” at Sierra High School tonight at 6:30 p.m. Acclaimed vocalist, mandolinist, and fiddler, Sam Bush, will perform at the Ent Center for the Arts tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

Science and comedy intersect tomorrow from 6-10 p.m. at the Space Foundation Discovery Center for their “Space After Dark: Science Riot” event. This Saturday at 7 p.m., the Ent Center for the Arts will host Axis Dance Company, the nation’s most acclaimed physically-integrated dance ensemble.

 Starting tonight, and running thru March 1st, the “The Bridges of Madison County” will be on stage at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. Tomorrow night, starting at 7 p.m., Stargazers Theater & Event Center will host a Valentine’s Dance Party featuring Suga Bear & The Showtime Band.

 The First Friday Shuttle Bus won’t return until April, but the First Friday Art Walks in Downtown Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs will continue tomorrow evening from 5-8 p.m.

Tonight at 8 p.m., the Rambling Express, a local blues rock, classic rock, outlaw country and R&B band, will perform at the Gold Room in downtown Colorado Springs. The Broadmoor Curling Club will host a “Learn to Curl” clinic at the Broadmoor World Arena Ice Hall on Friday at 8:30 p.m.

The Wendy Woo Band, a poly-ethnic, power pop, song-rock, 6-piece band with sweet vocal harmonies and shuddering grooves, will perform at the Tri-Lake Center for the Arts tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

The Veronika String Quartet will present “Triumphant Beethoven” tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. at Colorado College’s Packard Hall.  Stargazers Theatre and Event Center will present a night of blues music featuring the Austin Young Band, this Saturday beginning at 8 p.m.

Tonight at 8 p.m., local band C.C. and the Silhouettes will perform at the Gold Room in downtown Colorado Springs.  The Butte Theater in Cripple Creek will host a free sneak peek into their 2020 season this Saturday at 11 a.m.  On Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.

“The Sound of Music” continues its run at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College through January 12th. Tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Pikes Peak Center, Cirque Musica will present “Holiday Wishes,” bringing a holiday story to life in a full theatrical event for the entire family. Collective Groove, a 9-piece funk/soul band with a killer horn section, will perform at Stargazers Theatre & Event Center tomorrow evening at 7 p.m.

Tomorrow evening at 7 p.m., the Gallery Below will host its monthly comedy show, featuring comics from the local community and Denver. This Friday, Saturday & Sunday, the Colorado Youth Ballet and Colorado Ballet Society will present a 75-minute production of “The Nutcracker” at the Ent Center for the Arts.

Killer Keyz Dueling Pianos will host a night of humor, music and entertainment as professional piano players, Kirk and Rich duel it out on The Gold Room stage tonight at 8 p.m. Thru January 12th, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College will present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music.”

Thru December 14th, the Fountain Community Theater will present “The ReGifters” — a family friendly Christmas play.  Thru December 22nd, Theatreworks will present “Around the World in 80 Days” at the Ent Center for the Arts.  The Manitou Springs Heritage Center will present a free screening of the 1951 film “A Christmas Carol” tomorrow evening
