- This Friday, Saturday & Sunday, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, the Oklahoma City Ballet and the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale will collaborate to present several performances of “The Nutcracker.” On Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the artists of Cottonwood Center for the Arts will host their annual Holiday Art & Gift Market.
- Warren Miller’s 70th ski and snowboarding film, entitled “Timeless,” will be screened at the Pikes Peak Center tonight and tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday at 7 p.m., Slavic Soul Party, a dynamic 9-piece brass/percussion ensemble, will perform at the Ent Center for the Arts. This coming Tuesday & Wednesday from 10 a.m.
- This weekend, the 32nd annual Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival will screen approximately 40 films at five venues across the Colorado College campus. Bettman and Halpin will perform original Folk music and “Joyful Acoustic Americana” at the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. Now in their 21st year on the road,
- Beginning this evening, and running thru the 24th, the Millibo Art Theatre will present “Mother Courage and Her Children,” a theatrical masterpiece that explores the true cost of conflict. The current cast members of the Emmy-nominated TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway? will present their new improv tour: Whose Live Anyway?
- Tonight at 8 p.m., at the Ent Center for the Arts, Rubberband Dance founder, Victor Quijada, will revisit his dance company’s 15-year history in “Vic’s Mix”, featuring a unique blend of break dancing, ballet, and modern dance. Celebrate the start of Arts Month at the 2019 Artini, tomorrow evening from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
- Historic downtown Monument will host its final Art Hop of the 2019 season tonight from 5-8 p.m. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Pikes Peak Library District will present the “2019 Latina Voices” event at Library 21c on Saturday from 10AM-Noon, featuring the stories of three successful Colorado Latinas.
