Aspen Armchair Concerts: Orion Weiss, piano

When

Event Description

"The Aspen Music Festival and School is pleased to offer a series of virtual concerts created during the pandemic by musicians in the AMFS fold, both alumni and long-time performers. These beautifully filmed and curated one-hour concerts are free and viewable for three days each from the comfort of your own home. Orion Weiss has performed with the major American orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and New York Philharmonic; he has been an active Aspen collaborator in many different contexts over the years, too. Here, he presents a solo program of the Bach's Goldberg Variations and a Brahms transcription of Bach's Chaconne from the Violin Partita No. 2 in D minor."
