Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra: Serenade for Strings

The GJSO features the core section of the orchestra, our string players, in a concert of great works. The program includes the world premiere of a new transcription of Franz Biebl’s Ave Maria, Gustav Holst’s lively and entertaining St. Paul Suite, Gustav Mahler’s heartbreaking Adagietto from his 5th symphony, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s incredibly gorgeous Serenade for Strings in C major.  We’re thrilled to be back on the Avalon Theatre’s stage in newly reshaped programming to accommodate new safety standards.
