Pikes Peak Philharmonic “Pops” Concert

The Pikes Peak Philharmonic February Concert focusses on the genre of “Pops”. The concert will feature music of John Williams: “Flying Theme” from E.T., Jurassic Park, Theme from Jaws, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. We will also perform Shore: Lord of the Rings, Bernstein: Selections from West Side Story, and Rodgers: Selections from Sound of Music. Our Music Director, Dr. Luciano R. Silvestri, Jr., will provide interesting background information about the pieces we will perform beginning at 2:15 before the concert.
