UNC Theatre: The Heiress

Adapted from the Henry James’ novel, “Washington Square,” The Heiress is set in 1850s New York and tells the story of a shy and plain girl, Catherine Sloper, who falls desperately in love with a delightful young caller whom her father suspects of being a fortune hunter.
