September 18, 2025: Evergreen shooting update, Front Range drought amid climate change, tarantula love journey

Matthew Silverstone, 18, is one of the victims from the Evergreen High School shooting on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. JeffCo sheriff officials released the following statement along with the photo: “The family appreciates the community’s concern and support, but as we remain focused on our loved one’s recovery, we respectfully request privacy as we continue to heal and navigate the road ahead.”

An uncle of one of the victims in the Evergreen high school shooting shares more on the student’s condition in the hospital.
