Tuesday night marked caucus night in Colorado and marked the kickoff for Election 2018 as well as the first indications we have for race to be the next governor. Elsewhere, we toured the big development of the historic Argo Mine in Idaho Springs. We also spoke with 95-year-old Leila Morrison, who during WWII was assigned to the 188th Evacuation Hospital in the field. Leila told us what was on her mind as she walked across Omaha Beach not long after the Normandy invasion and her gratitude for President Truman ending the war against Japan with the dropping of atomic bombs.
