The Colorado Book Award winners will be announced June 10, and one nominee describes herself as the Susan Lucci of the award. Sandra Dallas has been nominated for a Colorado Book Award eight times, but hasn’t won yet. She spoke with Colorado Matters about her newest nominated work, a historical novel called Little Souls. It takes place amid the Spanish Flu epidemic and World War I. Dallas has written 33 books.
