A nuanced picture of GOP voters as presidential candidates debate

As Republican presidential candidates (with the exception of Donald Trump) prepare to debate in Milwaukee, a new survey offers surprising insight into GOP voters-- the issues they care about and their identities. The poll comes from More In Common, a nonprofit that fights polarization. The group plans similar surveys of Democratic and independent voters.
