Cleo Parker Robinson is a history-making dancer, choreographer and community advocate. Dr. Brenda J. Allen is a noted DEI scholar, author and educator. Over the years, they've developed a deep respect for each other and a lasting friendship. Today, excerpts from one of their community conversations on stage supported by CPR News and Cleo Parker Robinson Dance. They talked with Chandra Thomas Whitfield about their friendship, along with everything from the evolution of Colorado's arts scene and thoughts on so-called culture wars to their respective journeys charting new territory as women building their careers and lives in the Rocky Mountain state.
