Anna Carochi makes a decision, then waits for God to show her whether it was the right one. But one decision the 23-year-old junior at Metropolitan State University of Denver is certain of is her desire to become a nun. But that kind of certainty is evidently in shorter supply than it used to be -- the overall number of sisters in the Archdiocese of Denver has declined by almost 30 percent in the last decade. Carochi and Father Ryan O'Neill, the director of vocations for the archdiocese, speak with Colorado Matters about the trend, what’s behind it, and what’s being done about it. Carochi also talks about her own faith journey.
