Mountaineer Christine Boskoff climbed more of the world’s tallest peaks than any other American woman. It's a record that still stands. In 2006, Boskoff and her climbing partner, who lived together in Southwestern Colorado, disappeared while climbing a remote peak in China. "Edge of the Map: The Mountain Life Of Christine Boskoff" is a book by Denver author Johanna Garton. It's now a finalist for the Colorado Book Awards in the Creative Nonfiction category. Garton spoke with Avery Lill last April.
