A Fort Morgan meatpacking plant discriminated against Muslim workers, and may have violated the Civil Rights Act by refusing prayer breaks, according to the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission. In 2015, the workers walked off the job in protest, and were later fired.
The EEOC decision handed down the decision last week. From here, the workers may be able to recoup lost wages.
