Last April, a Boulder film company set out to make a documentary about two elite European climbers who were attempting a cutting-edge route up Mount Everest. Then, a fight broke out involving the two climbers and a group of Sherpas. The story made headlines around the world, and the film turned into a story about the conflict. It's called "High Tension" and it's showing tonight in Denver and Boulder. Zachary Barr, who’s with Sender Films in Boulder, is the producer. He spoke with CPR’s Andrea Dukakis.
