Boulder writer David Rothman is both a serious poet and a satirist. And he’s prolific. This spring, he published two books of poetry within a few weeks of each other: The Book of Catapults and Part of the Darkness. Both are about going into the darkness and finding redemption. His poems use a hefty dose of humor to do it. You may have heard him on CPR’s airwaves, where he is Colorado Matters’ resident humorist. He speaks with host Elaine Grant.
