A row of homes sits at the heart of a college campus in Denver; they're all that's left of a largely Latino neighborhood that was razed in the 1970s to build Auraria.  CU-Denver says it will make new investments in these historic properties. It's part of a growing effort to honor Hispanic history through preservation. The national group, "Latinos in Heritage Conservation" holds its biannual conference in Denver this week. Desiree Aranda is the group's cofounder. Annie Levinsky is with Historic Denver.
