A makeshift memorial has grown in Olde Town Arvada Square to Officer Gordon Beesley, a 19-year police veteran who was killed by gunfire Monday, June 21, 2021. His suspected attacker and "good Samaritan" Johnny Hurley were also killed in the shooting.
