It wasn’t just pot smokers who watched closely as state lawmakers crafted new rules for cannabis. Farmers were also paying attention. That’s because when voters legalized recreational marijuana last fall -- they also approved growing hemp. Boosters say hemp could be the state’s next cash crop. Hemp has more than 25,000 documented uses from cooking oil, to furniture, to clothes. Ryan Warner talks to a farmer from Wray, Colorado who's been advocating for hemp for years. Michael Bowman joins us from Washington D.C. where he is lobbying Congress to legalize hemp.
