Colorado law gives police officers second -- and even sometimes third -- chances if they are fired or have resigned for things like lying under oath, using excessive force or destroying evidence. It takes a criminal conviction to keep a cop from finding a law enforcement job elsewhere in the state. That's according to an investigation led by the Denver Post. Now, some Colorado politicians advocate new legislation to reduce cases of, what's been dubbed, "second-chance cops." Denver Post investigative reporter Christopher Osher, who reported and wrote the series, spoke with Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner.
