Every 18 years, the moon undergoes what's called a major lunar standstill. In the year before, during, and after, something magnificent happens near Pagosa Springs. The moon rises directly between the two rock towers at the Chimney Rock Archeological Area. Since last year, volunteer and astronomy buff Ron Sutcliffe has been guiding groups of people at night to view the lunar show. He talks to Ryan Warner.
