Colorado’s Marmots and Climate Change

Colorado marmots are breaking their hibernation weeks earlier than they did 30 years ago. Researchers have this information thanks to Billy Barr – who has been keeping a diary on wildlife for decades. Dan Meyers speaks with Barr, who is business manager for the Rocky Mountain Biological lab in Gothic, Colorado -and with Biologist David Inouye from the University of Maryland.
