Denver Urban Truck Farm

While there's growing interest in backyard gardens and the “local food” movement – not everyone who wants to garden has the space. For a couple of Denver graduate students, thinking outside the box led to their own garden...in the back of a truck.

A 1966 Ford F-250, to be exact.

The creators of the “Denver Urban Truck Farm” have been showing it off this summer at the Old South Pearl Street Farmers Market in Denver.  They don’t raise enough to sell, they just want people to see a unique way to garden.  Colorado Public Radio's Anna Panoka stopped by....and produced this audio postcard.
