Researchers are preparing to return to the Snowmass Village area where crews discovered several Ice Age fossils last fall including bones from mastodons and mammoths, even an ancient bison and sloth. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science says it's reached an agreement with the Snowmass Water and Sanitation District so scientists can resume unearthing animal bones and plant matter this spring. Colorado Public Radio's Anna Panoka spoke with Kirk Johnson, Chief Curator and Vice President of Research and Collections for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
