Oil and Gas Bill Gets Hearing

A Republican bill to change the makeup of the commission that regulates the energy industry got its first hearing at the capitol yesterday. Democrats revamped the commission four years ago to add environmental and wildlife experts and decrease the number of oil and gas representatives. Lawmakers are expected to vote on the measure early next week. Bente Birkeland has more from the state capitol.
