Lawmakers Reach Budget Deal

House and senate leaders have reached a deal on a roughly $7 billion state operating budget after weeks of tense negotiations that practically ground the capitol to a halt. Senate Democrats were fed up with the talks and threatened to break protocol and introduce a separate budget this week, but eventually both sides agreed to a compromise. Bente Birkeland has more from the state capitol.
