Farmers Rethinking Plans Due To Drought

Parts of Colorado are digging out from snow that fell yesterday and overnight, on top of a big weekend snowstorm.  But the state is still dealing with drought.  In fact, 40 percent of Colorado farmers in a state survey say they may have to leave agriculture if dry conditions continue.   James Pritchett, professor and extension specialist at Colorado State University,  is helping with the drought survey. He spoke with CPR’s Anna Panoka about what he’s learned so far.
