OpenAir at SXSW: Day Four check-in from Mike

My consolation prize: Damon Albarn's acoustic big band. Three guitars, keyboard, drummer playing with finger tips, string quartet, and a five piece gospel choir from an Austin church.

All songs are from upcoming album "Everyday Robots," and I am rather swept away. The sound is future Blur after we have lived through All Tomorrows Parties. Poignant and beautiful.

Speaking of Lou Reed there was an appreciation seminar yesterday and today he is the cover story of a local newspaper.

It is Radio Day at SXSW but for me it is always Radio Day! Another seminar then I am off to the Colorado Music Party to sing with a. tom collins and Dragondeer. I forgive Aaron for bailing on me last night in search of Big Freedia.
