This week we’re offering Sylvan Esso’s “Play it Right” from their self titled debut album.
Sylvan Esso is the duo of Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn. Amelia originally wrote a recorded Play it Right with her trio Mountain Man when she asked Nick, an electronic producer and member of the band Megafaun, to re-work the song.
They both enjoyed the result so much that they put their other musical projects on hold to form their own band, met up in North Carolina, and made a record together.
