Here's what's on tap for the week of Aug. 25.

Monday

Denver Brass plays a "Tiny Tots" concert Tuesday in Sedalia. We'll hear the ensemble perform a piece by Camille Saint-Saens.

Tuesday

The Friends of Chamber Music opens its piano series on Sept. 17. We'll hear Haydn's Piano Sonata in F from a previous Friends of Chamber Music recital.

WEDNESDAY

The genius of Franz Liszt, and a Colorado Music Festival performance of his Piano Concerto No. 1 by pianist Jose Feghali.

Thursday

Beethoven's String Quartet No. 1, performed by Pacifica Quartet from a previous Friends of Chamber Music concert.

FriDAY

A look at the Boulder Bassoon Quartet. The ensemble plays Dazzle Jazz on Sept. 2 as part of a night of music for quartets.
