SXSW debut for ‘Rolling Papers,’ about the advent of the weed business

Given that the state just released some new and detailed numbers on burgeoning marijuana sales for Colorado, and that we're learning how arts organizations are cozying up to the pot industry, this makes perfect sense: A new documentary called "Rolling Papers" is going to debut at the SXSW festival later in March. It's all about the weed economy here.

Directed by Mitch Dickman, the film looks at the impact of legalized marijuana through the eyes of  Denver Post cannabis blogger Ricardo Baca, and his team. "Policy news, strain reviews, parenting advice and edible recipes are the new norm on a new beat: pot journalism," the promotional materials say.
